MY FIRST TRAVEL EVER - ITALIA!

Find Out What Happens Next
TRAVELLLLLLLL, lord! This is my biggest passion in life! With travelling I discovered who I am as a person, what I want, what I like, what I don't like, what I want more of in my life and what I never...
I discovered who I am as a person, what I want, what I like, what I don't like, what I want more of in my life and what I never want again.
...want again.

I've been blessed to be part of the ROTARACT foundation, Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. I joined at the age of 16 (A friend of the club), could not be a member because of my age.

But Rotaract opened huge doors for me! I would advise you to go and join the closest Rotaract Club for you and the good thing is it's totally FREE! Common organizations like AIESEC and Leo clubs. I was a member of ALEXANDRIA COSMOPOLITAN ROTARACT CLUB.

My first travel ever was to ITALY to attend a MED MDIO Conference; “Mediterranean Peace Forum” 2012 Pompei 6th – 9th December 2012

I can remember this trip as if it was yesterday, maybe the first thing of everything?

ITALY is my favorite place ever, the food, the language, the vibes, everything!

The “Mediterranean Peace Forum” is the first Mediterranean Rotaract meeting that is organized by Mediterranean Rotaractors and sponsored by Mediterranean Rotarians. It provides Rotaractors with a forum for sharing ideas, concerns, and experiences with other Rotaract club members around the Mediterranean.

Participants are also treated to sightseeing and other cultural events throughout the weeklong event. The Mediterranean Convention was held in Italy, at Pompei from the 6th of December till the 9th of December, 2012.

This Convention represented an ideal opportunity to establish relationships, develop leadership skills and establish connections between different clubs.

The Mediterranean as a place of peace, stability and prosperity, the integration as the only tool to overcome the great international tensions. Peace is a beneficial power that can only take place with the cooperation of everyone and we hope, with this project, to sow the seeds of peace in the Mediterranean area. The main objective behind the project of the Mediterranean MDIO is to build and formalize the network between clubs and Districts of this area in order to enhance the communication between a wide range of cultural backgrounds. The Mediterranean MDIO would come up with many multidistrict events, training seminars, big-scale community projects between two or more clubs from different districts, as well as an annual convention to be determined by the participating districts after the kick start of the MDIO. The congressmen can broaden their horizons at the House of the Mediterranean Friendship, where they know Clubs service projects, or where they can create new service projects for Peace in the Mediterranean. Rotaract club members all over the Mediterranean are invited and welcome to this conference for the development of goodwill and understanding among young world citizens. We would like to confirm with this letter as Chairpersons of “Mediterranean Peace Forum 2012” that the below individuals are registered to attend this event in Pompei. The accommodations had been paid in full and confirmed. It was a sponsored trip and I LOVED IT! Rotaract perks for life!

From there I had the chance to visit NAPOLI, the best Italian city for Christine!
